What you'll find

• Choose the Camping Lantern 18000mAh for long weekends away from an outlet: its 18000mAh (66.6Wh) battery is rated for more than 15 hours of area light and up to 59 hours in flashlight mode.
• Pick that lantern too when raw brightness counts, with up to 2850 lumens, or when a phone, tablet or laptop needs a top-up from the same battery.
• Choose the Work Light + Stand 10000mAh when the light has to hit one spot, such as an engine bay, because each of its three heads is rated to turn 180° up and down and 270° side to side.

How to choose

Both lights cover the basics. Each comes with a remote, clings to a car body or toolbox with a magnetic base, and switches between white (6500K), warm white (4500K) and warm (3500K) light, so a bright task setting can drop to a softer tone for dinner. Where they differ is battery size, peak brightness and aiming. The 18000mAh lantern adds a remote range of up to 10 meters and an IPX4 rating for rain and splashes. Both stand on detachable tripods, the lantern's reaching from 25 to 71.7 inches and the work light's from 30.3 to 71.6 inches, and the 10000mAh light adds a foldable hanging hook. The work light weighs about 3.9 lb with its tripod, so both are car-camping and job-site lights rather than ones for a backpack. Charge either fully before the first trip.
