Compact rechargeable multi-tool lanterns, including the 983 lm flashlight and lantern, for handheld and table lighting when you do not need a full string run or a high-capacity work light. To compare this lantern's battery and runtime with the rest of OGERY's lights, read our OGERY review.

How to choose

A rechargeable lantern earns its spot when one light has to cover several jobs. The Multi-Tool Lantern 983LM pairs a front spotlight with a wide side lantern for up to 983 lumens combined: the spotlight reaches up to 536m (1758ft) for searching a trail or a field, while the side light spreads across about 100 square meters, plenty for a campsite table or a garage bay. Weigh runtime against brightness. On high, its 9000mAh battery runs the front light for up to 6.5 hours and the side light for up to 18 hours, and LED indicators show how much charge is left. It recharges over USB-C and can top up a phone in an emergency. The multi-tool part is literal: screwdriver bits and sockets are built in, which makes it as useful for roadside repairs and home fixes as for camping. High, low and flash modes work on both beams. It also earns a place in the car's glovebox or a kitchen drawer for power cuts, since one charge covers a long evening on the side light. If you would rather hang soft light around a tent, see OGERY Camping String Lights.
